White Galactic Wizard 8-15-19 Full Aquarian Moon Leonid Sun
In the name of all that is joyous to the heart,
Gladdening to the eye, and is kindling to the belly,
In the name of all that stokes courage,
Fuels passion, and promotes dreaming,
Even though we may get lost
By the stars in the cosmos we find our way,
Returning from deep inky realms
Where horses run untethered,
Frothing at the mouth, kicking meteors through darkness
Beneath their hooves
Returning from shadows where though we jump
At the slightest rustle hearts pounding,
We open our mouths and call help from the gut
Sound reverberating in our throats then roaring out
Yes, we find our way
Though we didn’t convince our mothers
If they came, when they did,
To see beyond shapes on a wall
Though we didn’t convince our mothers
If they listened, when they did,
To dream their way through dark places that scared them
Though we didn’t open their eyes for them
Not knowing then
That only they could open their eyes
And still can should they choose
We know to ask our children when they call
What did you see? while we hold them close
Listening to the strange tales they tell
Without interruption,
And when they ask
Did you see it too?
We share our own tales while they hold their breath
Eyes wide gleaming roundly into darkness,
And when they ask
What did you do?
We tell them
Why I hitched a ride on the back of a shooting star
Behind Baba Yaga’s cauldron
Somersaulting through the skies until I fell
Into a circle of soft flowers that showed me
How to find my way back home
Then they snuggle and say
We’re glad you found your way home
Before they fall asleep
In the name of all that is precious and necessary to life,
Fortifies the heart, and encourages open wings to soar,
In the name of all that delights the eye,
Flows through the belly, and rises up as song
May we remember that treasure means different things to each of us,
Yet may we respect our differences without giving up what we treasure within
May we remember that to be considerate is to listen, inwardly and outwardly
May we have the courage to listen with integrity to ourselves and others
May we remember to give our children space
To dream, stumble, wander, get lost, and find their way
May we remember that they are ours to embrace
Not to hold by means of a noose
May we claim for ourselves joy, passion, and courageous dreaming,
May we reclaim what treasures were lost and release all else with gratitude
May we claim for ourselves curiousity, wonder, and songs that delight
May we reclaim our place in the cosmos, amongst meteors, horses, lions, and flowers
May we claim for ourselves allowance, consideration, and permission
May we reclaim excitement, adventure, and new stories
May we claim for ourselves what we need to grow with flourish
May we reclaim our voices, all of them
May we claim for ourselves respect, dignity, and grace
May we reclaim our ability to say yes and no
May we remember to feed ourselves, fuel ourselves, nourish and nurture ourselves
In the smallest of ways that matter deep within with compassionate tenderness
That in living, in being alive, we serve others whole life and harmony
Generously
In the name of all that is
It is so, and so it is!
